Basic inspection

The basic coordinates, dimensions, elevations, and reserved holes should meet the design requirements. The foundation surface should be flat and the concrete strength should meet the equipment installation requirements.

When the plane size of the foundation of the circulating water pump is not installed with vibration isolation, 100mm to 150mm should flow out around the base of the water pump unit. When installed with vibration isolation, 150mm should flow out around the isolation base. When the top elevation of the foundation is not installed with vibration isolation, it should be higher than the completed surface of the pump room floor by more than 100 millimeters. When installed with vibration isolation, it should be higher than the completed surface of the pump room floor by more than 50 millimeters, and there should be no accumulation of water. There is no drainage setting around the periphery of the foundation, which facilitates drainage during maintenance or eliminates water leakage accidents.

2. Clean the gravel, oil stains, accumulated water, soil, and other debris from the surface of the pump foundation and the reserved holes for the anchor bolts. The threads and nuts of the embedded anchor bolts should be well protected. The surface of the iron pad should be chiseled flat.

Place the water pump on the foundation and use shims to align and level it. After the installation of the water pump, the same set of shims should be welded together to prevent loosening under stress.
