During the operation of the intermediate pump, the operators shall strictly observe their posts, strengthen inspection, find problems in time and deal with them in a timely manner. In general, the following matters should be noted.

(1) Check whether various instruments work normally, such as ammeter, voltmeter, vacuum gauge, pressure gauge, etc. If the reading is too large or too small or the pointer jumps violently, find out the cause in time and eliminate it. If the reading of the vacuum gauge rises suddenly, the suction head may increase due to the blockage of the water inlet or the drop of the water level in the water inlet pool; If the pressure gauge reading drops suddenly, it may be that the water inlet pipe leaks, inhales air or the speed decreases.

(2) When the split pump is running, the tightness of the packing should be appropriate. The gland is too tight, and the stuffing box has too little water leakage, which can not play the role of water seal, lubrication and cooling, which is easy to cause the packing to heat up and harden, accelerate the wear of pump shaft and shaft sleeve, and increase the mechanical loss of the pump; The packing is too loose and has too much water seepage, causing a large amount of water leakage, or making air enter the pump, reducing the volume efficiency of the pump, resulting in reduced water output, or even no water output. Generally, the tightness of the packing should be about 20 drops of water per minute, which can be adjusted by the packing gland thread.

(3) Generally, the temperature rise of bearing shall not exceed 30-40 , and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 60-70 . If the bearing temperature is too high, the lubrication will be invalid, the bearing bush will be burnt or the rolling element will be broken, or even the shaft will be broken or the pump shaft will be bitten by thermal expansion. If the temperature rise is too high, stop immediately to check the cause and eliminate it in time.


(4) Prevent the inlet pipe mouth of the water pump from submerging to a depth that is not enough, resulting in a vortex near the inlet El, allowing air to enter the pump. The floating objects in the trash rack and the inlet pool shall be cleaned in time to avoid blocking the inlet pipe orifice. Both of the above will increase the water inlet resistance, resulting in a decrease in the pressure at the nozzle, and even cavitation.

(5) Pay attention to the oil ring, and make it rotate asynchronously with the pump shaft. Listen to whether the sound of the unit is normal at any time.

(6) Close the outlet gate valve before stopping the vehicle, and then stop the vehicle with the gate closed. Then, close the valves on the vacuum gauge and pressure gauge, and wipe the water and oil on the surface of the pump and motor. In the houses without heating equipment, after parking in winter, it should be considered that the water pump will not cause frost cracking.
