The self priming water pump starts the motor, with power linkage. The rotating assembly is pushed by the impeller centrifuge, causing bubbles to surge upwards and generate suction. The air in the inlet pipe is discharged from the pump body through the outlet pipe, and the air is discharged completely. The water flows out through the outlet pipe.
1. Self suction, as the name suggests, refers to the use of the negative pressure (vacuum) formed during the operation of the pump when the pumping pipe of the water pump is filled with air. Under the action of atmospheric pressure, the water pressure lower than the pumping port is raised, and then discharged from the drainage end of the water pump. There is no need to add "water diversion" before this process. A water pump with this ability is called a self priming water pump.
2. Some centrifugal or rotary vane pumps must add water to form a closed environment inside the pump chamber before absorbing water, and then the pump can operate to form negative pressure and achieve the purpose of absorbing water. For example, the manual water pump used in rural areas before. A pump without self suction capacity needs to add water before each suction, which is very troublesome.
