1. Before installation, it must be confirmed that the length and height of the inlet pipe cannot exceed the allowable suction range of the big end self-priming pump.

2. The inlet pipe must not have air leakage. It should be fully sealed. Even if there is a small hole with a large pinhole, it will affect the self-priming capacity of the big end self-priming pump.

3. The pump cannot be installed cheaply. Some users directly put the wooden strip base of the factory fixed pump and the pump together on the ground for use when taking the newly purchased large head self-priming pump for use. This practice is not advisable, which may easily lead to vibration and noise of the pump and mechanical failure of the pump. The correct method is to fix the pump base on a solid flat platform or hard ground.

4. When installing the pump, try not to fix it on the bracket welded with channel steel, because there are too few contact surfaces between the channel steel and the pump, while fastening the base screws, because a large part of the pump base is suspended, it is easy to damage the concentricity of the base and the coupling. Therefore, the large end self-priming pump installed on the channel steel bracket is most likely to have large vibration and the coupling is easily damaged
