Correctly select the installation elevation of the water pump.

Properly design the inlet water tank and inlet pipes or flow channels. Avoid vortices and currents in the pool, and ensure that the inlet bell has sufficient submergence depth. For horizontal centrifugal pumps, there should be a straight pipe length of no less than 4-5 times the pump inlet diameter before the impeller inlet to ensure a more uniform flow state at the impeller inlet.

Timely dredging to avoid clogging of the trash rack, in order to reduce hydraulic losses in the suction pipe or inlet channel, and improve the effective cavitation margin of the device. Avoid using the gate valve of the inlet pipeline to adjust the working point of the water pump, in order to avoid reducing the inlet pressure of the water pump, disrupting the flow pattern, and causing cavitation of the water pump.

Properly schedule to ensure that the water pump operates within the allowable range of cavitation margin.

Take measures to reduce the sediment content of the water source and avoid the deterioration of the cavitation performance of the water pump due to the wear and tear of the flow components by sediment.

Pay attention to observing and inspecting the cavitation area of the water pump. If the overcurrent components of the water pump have been damaged, they should be repaired in a timely manner.

Improve the manufacturing process of water pumps to ensure smooth surfaces of flow components.

Other measures, such as adding air to the pump, adding inducers, and using anti cavitation materials to manufacture impellers and pump casings, etc
