Centrifugal pump is used to pump kerosene, gasoline, diesel, Jet fuel and other petroleum mechanical products. The main flow components of a self priming centrifugal oil pump include a pressure chamber, impeller, and suction chamber. The working principle of a centrifugal oil pump is to transfer the mechanical energy of the prime mover to the liquid through the action of a rotating impeller on the liquid.

The impeller is installed in the pump casing and fastened to the pump shaft, which is directly driven by the motor. There is a liquid suction and suction pipe connected in the pump casing. The liquid enters the pump through the bottom valve and suction pipe. Connect the liquid discharge port and discharge pipe on the pump casing. Before starting the oil pump, fill the pump casing with the conveyed liquid. After starting, the impeller is driven by the shaft for rapid movement, and the liquid between the blades will also rotate with it. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid will be thrown out from the center of the impeller and obtain energy, then quickly leave the impeller and enter the volute pump casing.
