The split centrifugal pump is a large flow and low lift centrifugal pump. It adopts a large diameter double volute structure design, which has high operating efficiency, stable performance and wide applicability. What aspects should be paid attention to during the operation of the split centrifugal pump to ensure the normal operation of the pump? There are five main points below, and all centrifugal pumps are also used in the following five points.

1. Before starting, the pump must be filled with liquid until the exhaust hole at the top of the pump casing emits liquid.

2. Before starting, fully close the outlet valve to make it start when the flow is zero.

3. After starting, gradually adjust the outlet valve to adjust the flow.

4. During operation, always check whether the bearing is overheated, whether the lubricating oil is in good condition, and whether the packing or mechanical seal is leaking or heating.

5. When stopping the pump, the outlet valve shall be closed first to prevent the pump impeller from being reversed due to the differential pressure of the liquid in the outlet pipeline, which may cause the nut to fall off and the impeller to be worn, thus causing damage to the pump body.
