MD pump is a horizontal segmental multi-stage centrifugal pump with single suction or double suction inlets. The suction inlet of the pump can be vertically or horizontally arranged and the discharge outlet vertically upward. It is mainly composed of inlet section, middle section, outlet section, secondary inlet section, positive guide vane, negative guide vane, positive impeller, negative impeller, shaft, throttling sleeve, pressure relief device, retaining sleeve, bearing body, transition pipe and other parts; The middle section is connected with the water inlet and outlet sections by high-strength threaded bolts. The sealing surfaces between the water inlet section, middle section and water outlet section of the pump are hard sealed with molybdenum disulfide grease metal surfaces; The rotor is composed of positive impeller, throttling and pressure reducing device, reverse impeller, shaft sleeve, bearing retainer and other parts installed on the shaft; The bearing adopts the "solid floating" dry oil lubrication structure, the driving end adopts cylindrical roller bearing, and the end adopts angular contact ball bearing; The pump chamber is composed of inlet section, middle section, outlet section, secondary inlet section, positive guide vane, anti guide vane, transition pipe, etc; The sealing ring and guide vane sleeve are installed between the rotor part and the fixed part for sealing. When the wear of the sealing ring and guide vane sleeve has affected the working performance of the pump, they should be replaced in time;


There are two types of shaft seals: mechanical seal and packing seal. When the pump adopts the packing seal, the position of the packing ring should be correct, the tightness of the packing must be appropriate, and it is appropriate that the liquid can seep out drop by drop. Various sealing elements of the pump shall be installed in the sealing chamber, and the chamber shall be filled with water under certain pressure for water sealing, water cooling and water lubrication. A replaceable shaft sleeve is installed at the shaft seal to protect the pump shaft;

The bearing and seal of the pump can be replaced without dismantling the inlet and outlet pipelines. This series of pumps are directly driven by the prime mover through elastic pin coupling or diaphragm coupling. Seen from the direction of prime mover, the pump rotates clockwise.
