Now, I would like to share with you the specific operation methods on how to correctly handle the freezing of sewage pump in winter
1. If the water pump freezes, use hot water or boiled water to pour into the water pump for deicing. Or shell of heating water pump;
2. Place the water pump in a normal temperature environment. Below zero is enough;
3. Use downhole pump. Put the pump into the well. Generally, the pump is deep from the ground and will not freeze;
4. Thermal insulation water pump is adopted. Add steam or hot water to the insulation layer. Freeze with waterproof pump;
5. Non self priming centrifugal pump is used. Only adding water when using can prevent the water pump from freezing;
6. Drain the water in the pump and add water when using. Prevent the water pump from freezing and cracking;
Routine maintenance:
1. After the water pump of the self priming sewage pump is stopped, the residual water in the pump and pipeline shall be drained, and the external soil shall be cleaned, so as to prevent the pump body and water pipe from cracking due to the freezing water;
2. The bottom valve, elbow and other iron castings of the water pump should be brushed with a wire brush to remove the rust, and then coated with anti rust paint before painting. After drying, they should be stored in the machine room or a ventilated and dry place in the storage room;
3. If the belt is driven by a belt, after the belt is removed, it should be cleaned and dried with warm water and hung in a dry place without direct sunlight, and it should not be stored in a place with oil stains, corrosives and smoke. Under no circumstances should the belt be stained with oil, diesel oil or gasoline, or coated with rosin or other viscous substances;
4. Check the ball bearing and replace it if the inner sleeve is worn, loose, the ball is worn or the surface has spots. For the bearings that do not need to be replaced, clean them with gasoline or kerosene, coat them with butter and reinstall them;
5. Check whether the impeller of the self-priming sewage pump has cracks or holes, and whether the impeller fixing nuts are loose. If damaged, repair or replace them. If the impeller is worn too much or damaged, replace it with a new one. Local damage can be repaired by welding, or the impeller can be repaired with epoxy resin mortar. The repaired impeller shall generally undergo static balance test. Check the clearance at the impeller antifriction ring. If it exceeds the specified value, repair or replace it;
6. The bent or severely worn pump shaft shall be repaired or replaced, otherwise it will cause imbalance of the rotor and wear of relevant parts;
7. The removed screws shall be soaked in diesel oil and cleaned with a wire brush, smeared with engine oil or grease, reinstalled or wrapped with plastic cloth before being placed to avoid corrosion or loss;
